MISS RODEO LENOX

Hello Everyone!

I got the amazing opportunity to visit the Sidney Pro Rodeo. I always love visiting Rodeo Town USA because my grandpa use to take me every year when I was younger. I truly believe that is where my love for rodeo was born. My mom and I got there early Saturday afternoon to enjoy an amazing cookout with some family. Thank you so much to Steve Johnson and his family / friends for all the great food and hospitality. The venison was amazing!

Congratulations to the new Miss Sidney Rodeo, Morgan Mowery.

I’ve always loved riding in Sidney’s grand entry. The sights, sounds and smells of the fireworks they shoot off is always a rush. Sidney has to be my favorite PRCA rodeo! There was some added excitement during the saddle bronc riding when the power went out. No worries though rodeo fans, they ran it “old school” without any high tech lights or sounds for 3 events.

I got to run out cattle with Hollie Soucie (Miss Rodeo AKSARABEN), Lindsey Ahrenholtz (Miss Rodeo Iowa) and Morgan Mowery (Miss Sidney Rodeo). Due to the power outage we were unable to do any queen runs that night. After a slight technical problem everything went smooth and it was a great night for rodeo!

Next stop - Grundy County on Saturday the 8th to attend the benefit team roping for Lindsey Ahrenholtz, Miss Rodeo Iowa.
