MISS RODEO LENOX

Hey everyone!  Well it's now January 23, 2010 - wow I'm not use to writing that yet!  I got the opportunity to go to the Miss Rodeo Iowa coronation for Jordanne Blair in Lake City, Iowa.  With the weather we have been having, I was a little concerned that I wasn't going to make it.  Luckly it wasn't too foggy so mom, my friend Laramie and I made the two and half hour trip.  Over 200 people braved the fog to come support Jordanne and the MRI Pageant.  It was a packed house!!  First off, I have to mention all the great food that Jordanne had arranged.  I know I ate my fair share.   There was also a silent auction filled with goodies and western decore and attire.  I was very excited to find out that I won a green western shirt, baseball hat with "Rodeo Vegas" on it and a coffee mug that I had bid so hard on.  There were numerous rodeo and fair queens that braved the weather to help celebrate with Jordanne.  Some of them were Jordanne Blair (MRI 2010), Lindsey Ahrenholtz (MRI 2009), Hannah Hilsabeck (MTRI 2010), Shelby Chapman (MTRI 2009), Katie Chaffin (Miss Rodeo Illinois 2010), Jenna Cool (Miss Leon Princess), Rachel Burton (Miss NFPB) and Rachel Burgren (Miss URA 2010) along with a few others.  There was also a live auction that all the queens participated in, all of us held up items that were up for bid so the audience could get a better view.  I tried to buy the cutest puppy but it went out of my price range.  I had such a great time there!  My next stop is in Winterset, Iowa on February 13th for the coronation of Hannah Hilsabeck, Miss Teen Rodeo Iowa 2010.  Until next time, Happy Trails!
